Who we are
Share Scheme Return is a trading name of CHENFLOW LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 12064784. Registered office: 5th Floor, 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PF. Email: [email protected].
What the service does
Share Scheme Return is software that runs in your web browser. It checks share scheme data against the format rules HMRC publishes for employment related securities (ERS) end of year returns, and fills in HMRC's published templates. It does not submit returns, does not give tax, legal or accounting advice, and does not decide whether any event is taxable, whether options qualify or what values to use. It is not affiliated with HMRC.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for your return, for the accuracy of the data you load and for submitting the return on time.
- Check the files before you upload them. HMRC's rules and templates can change.
- Only load data you are allowed to use for preparing the return.
Buying a licence
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's own terms apply to the purchase.
- Company licence: builds return files for one company (all its schemes) for 12 months, and renews yearly until cancelled.
- Practice licence: builds return files for up to 25 companies for 12 months, and renews yearly until cancelled. It may be used by the staff of one practice.
Licence keys are for the buyer only and must not be shared publicly or resold. We may stop a key that is being shared or used beyond its plan, after telling you by email.
Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel renewal at any time from the link in your receipt email. You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of any payment; see our refund policy. Refunded licences stop working.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available, especially before 6 July, but we do not promise it will always be available or error free. The checker works without our server; building files needs a licence check, which works offline for a while once your key has been confirmed.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for penalties, interest, tax or other losses arising from returns, including returns that are late, incomplete or rejected.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the version on this page applies from the date shown. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
